Machine Stops w/o Prompting

Good Afternoon,

My mother's HQ Sixteen stops quilting when in stitch regulated mode after a few seconds each time we try to use it. It continues just fine in manual mode. Does anybody have any suggestions for getting the machine to continue quilting in regulated mode?
