Inconsistent tension with Amara
I've had my Amara for about 9 months now and almost every quilt has areas on the back where the tension went whacky for a few inches, then back to normal. It's really keeping me from wanting to use the machine, it's so frustrating. What's worse is that often I don't discover it until I've taken the quilt off the machine.

Sharp8318,
What type of thread are you using? Are you setting the bobbin tension first and then adjusting the top tension? Is the thread flossed in between the tension disc really well? Sometimes the thread can pop out of the tension disc if it isn't flossed in properly.

I reset the bobbin tension, although I think it was fine. Then I dialed up the top tension to 115...way more than I've ever had it at, but it seemed to do the trick! I will continue playing with it at 115 to test further, and hopefully that solved my issue. I've never had it that high...guess I was afraid/hesitant. Thank you for taking the time to help!
