Calibration issue with Prostitcher
When measuring with ProStitcher, the measurement in the software does not match the actual measurement on the quilt. The actual measurement is 97% the the software measurement. The discrepancy is the same for both horizontal and vertical measurements. This is causing issues with the design not matching up to the actual quilt when inputting the length measurement. For example, a 8.5 inch square measured 8.84 x 8.74 in the software. I realize there is some minor discrepancy with lining up the needle on the square lines, but not always that exact amount of difference. We have contacted the local dealer and were told to reinstall the software and update it. Will be trying that, but that does not seem like a fix unless there is a calibration process in the installation of the software. Please any help would be appreciated.

What are you measuring? Can you repeat wirh a commercial square template? I will try and do the same the next time I'm quilting. MG

The example I gave was using a commercial square template of 8.5 inches. Also used other size templates with the same result. But the most noticeable discrepancy is when quilting and setting the area for the design, the design ends up being larger than the physical size of the quilt. Just did a 64 inch long quilt, edge to edge design and the design extended almost 2 inches beyond the end of the quilt.

Thanks. I have my Fusion with ProStitcher off the carriage for cleaning. When I get it together I'll check. Any comment from HQ?

The advised me to contact the local dealer, most likely a hardware issue. Still trying to get the local dealer to understand the issue.
