Changing feet

    Make sure you loosen the screw quite a bit. It might require a little wiggling of the foot as well. Sometimes the plastic feet stick a little at first.

    I also have difficulty changing out the foot (from hopping to an echo foot).  Seems like the  bar is very difficult to raise..unlike what I see in your videos.  Even if the screw holding foot is completely removed.

    What to do? is it possible the bar is frozen? in need of a little oil??

    What I did find is that if you are changing feet while working on a top you should move the carriage off to the side and away from the quilt top. It gives you more room below the foot to maneuver it off the post. I was still very careful because I was changing  an acrylic square foot.
