Prostitcher premium motor disconnects
I have an Infinity with the latest Prostitcher Premium. I've been doing some free motion quilting and the motors keep disconnecting for no apparent reason. Same was happening awhile basting with channel lock on. If I click the motor lightning bolt icon it sometimes resets but periodically it locks up the machine to where I cant even move the needle. I have restarted the software in those cases. Every now and then while doing this it gives a motor communication error and says the prostitcher has stopped working and a button to close the software. It is happening frequently enough to be annoying. When I am in free motion, gears disengaged and this happens, I just keep quilting since it let's,me. I saw a post with known issue on newest software for prostitcher premium. Could this be the same? Or is there something j can do to check that my motors are working correctly?

wpullinen,
Have you checked to make sure all of your cords are attached securely? If this doesn't solve the issue, please contact technical solutions at 1-877-697-8458 M-F 8-5 MT.

Hello! This happened to me a lot last week with my new Amara & new ProStitcher. The wire that connects my ProStitcher didn't have a white clasp to hold it in. HQ sent me a new wire and white clasp. I quilted 4 tops yesterday successfully...but then on the last top, the Lightning Bolt motor error happened again.
I unplug the machine when I'm not using it. Why does this happen? Thank you!0 -
One of the plugs on my Amara has a clasp - but ti's not white - which plug gets a white clasp?
I'm on my 8th motor error. Two years of freehand and I added PS for something new to learn this long COVID winter but it is a very steep learning curve with so many bugs.
