    Congratulations on your purchase.  You will love using it to create beautiful quilts.  The tablet has had the WiFi disconnected. This is a protection for your tablet so the automatic updates don't interfere with the Pro-Stitcher software.  When you purchase a design you will put it onto a USB and take it to the Pro-Stitcher.  You will do any updates the same way, by using a USB to put the update on. 

    If you go to hqprostitcher.com you can find out about the updates there.  You can register your machine on the Handi Quilter website.  Handi Quilter will be the ones you work with if you have an issue with your tablet. 

    Go to handiquilter.com and sign up for the emails.  Handi Quilter will notify you through this email about updates to your machine and tablet.

    So I’m clear this will require for me to have another computer that had a USB port to do the upgrades and purchase additional designs?

    I don’t have an additional computer. After spending close to 20k for a system we should have a system that works without having to purchase an additional computer.

    Requiring an additional device is also not good for the environment. I hope Handiquilter is looking into a better solution.

    There should be a USB port on your machine.
