Removing pole Couplers
I am changing my frame to an 8' frame from a 12' frame. I am having a terrible time removing the pole couplers on all 5 of my poles. Is there some kind of secret????? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Dear Gayle,
You need to loosen the bolt that is in the end of the pole end or ratchet wheel assembly. This will allow you to slide out the pole end or ratchet wheel assembly, then add in your extra section of pole.

Hi Gayle,
I'm in the process of doing the same thing. How did you manage to remove the pole ends?
I can't just remove the middle sections, some of the poles were already disassembled.
Please let me know - thank you!

I just ran into a problem and had to remove the end plug. I couldn’t budge it, even after taking the bolt off. I applied a little physics by soaking the rubber end in ice water for maybe 5 minutes, which made it shrink a little. I then popped it off!
