Motor error and needle not stitching.
When I am using prostitcher my design begins to stitch and then suddenly the needle will no longer go up and down but the arm will continue to move. Sometimes the needle stops in the down position and gets stuck in the quilt and the arm continues to move and then the prostitcher says motor error. This is a brand new forte machine so the pro stitcher software is up to date. I then have to close out the computer in order to get the needle back up.

Dduran,
I am sorry that you are having issues with your HQ Forte and Pro-Stitcher. Go into your Settings on the Pro-Stitcher, then go to Advanced, then Motors. Turn your Motor Torque up to 200. (It is down in the bottom left hand corner).
Check all your connections and make sure they are all pushed in securely. Even though your machine is new make sure you are on the latest version of software. You should be on .0461. Also make sure your Forte is updated.
If you still need assistance please contact your local Retailer.
Best regards,
