Old Sixteen
Hi - So I have an old model Sixteen sit-down. No stitch regulation or extra accessories. Am I able to convert it to a stand up model?

I looked into that last year. My local dealer said no but I called HQ service and discussed that. The man who assisted me asked the information found on the touchscreen about the machine and told me that it certainly could be upgraded to a frame. At that time, we calculated an approximate cost of the upgrades I wanted to be around $6K. Best thing for you to do is call support directly.

Hmmm ... $6K. I'll check with them but it looks like I'll be sitting down for a while yet. ;-) Thanks for the info Scotia.

Judy,
Please contact our Customer Relations team at 1-877-697-8458, M-F, 8-5 MST. They will be able to tell you what you would need to do to change your HQ Sweet Sixteen to a stand up machine. They will also be able to give you the price.
Best regards,
